Designed as a prep school specifically for promising young players aged from 16 to 18 years with aspirations for the future.
Course Overview
- Intensive seven day course.
- The course aims to build a solid foundation for these players that will better prepare them for their rugby future.
- Concentrates on position specific analysis and tuition, mental toughness, rugby intelligence and skills.
- Courses will run in April, August and December.

Optional Extra
If you are interested in a 'Kiwi Experience' at River Valley Lodge being organised for you after the course this can be arranged at additional cost (check out their website at www.rivervalley.co.nz). Activities on offer include:
- Horse trekking
- Abseiling
- Pitch 'n' putt golf
- White water rafting
- Bungy jumping (80 metres - the highest jump in the North Island of New Zealand)
Course Fees
International Applications
For coaches and players who reside outside New Zealand
NZ $3369.38 including 12.5% GST
Domestic Applications
For New Zealand resident coaches and players prices quoted are inclusive of GST.
NZ $2995 including GST
Prices do not include travel to Palmerston North, but do include all academy and course related costs such as meals and accommodation and transfers from Palmerston North airport (if applicable) to the Sport and Rugby Institute, Palmerston North.
50% deposit on acceptance of application
Balance of 50% due four weeks prior to course start date
Translation service available at additional cost
Course fees include:
- Accommodation and all meals
- Seven day rugby tuition
Please note: Cancellation four weeks prior to commencement of course will incur a penalty fee of 20% of the course fee. Cancellation within two weeks of course commencement is non-refundable.
