Coaches’ Courses

Who Should Attend?

There are four course options for coaches: the Practical Coaching Course, Advanced Coaches' Course, Coach Development Course and the High Performance Coaches' Course.
Each course utilises world-class coaches and position specific specialists who are passionate about the knowledge they pass on.
The courses are designed to be practical and hands on with the majority of sessions taking place on the rugby field, rather than in the classroom.
The high performance, development and advanced courses are run alongside our players' courses (high performance, development and advanced)
Sending a coach to IRANZ is an ideal opportunity for clubs, schools, academies and provinces to acknowledge the work their coaches have done in the past, and to encourage them to upskill for the future.
First class, international and NZRU staff coaches will share their experiences on what has worked best for them to get to the top.
