Farrah Palmer

- Farrah is captain of the Black Ferns squad. Her international experience includes the Canada Cup in 1996 and 2000 and the victorious 1998 and 2002 World Cups. She plays for provincial side Manawatu in the Lion Foundation Cup after previously playing for Otago and Waikato. Farah holds a PhD and is a lecturer at New Zealand’s Massey University.
Melodie Robinson

- Melodie was part of the World Cup winning Black Ferns team in 1998 and 2002. She has been with Sky Television since 2002 and will concentrate on position specific coaching of the loose forwards with Murray Mexted, and media and presentation skills on the IRANZ women’s rugby course.
Anna Richards
- Black Ferns and Auckland 1st 5/8 1990-2005
- Anna is the most experienced player in the Black Ferns Squad making her debut in 1990. An all-round sportswoman who has represented New Zealand in Sevens and Touch Rugby, she has also played provincial netball for Canterbury. But it is in rugby that she has made big strides having played in the World Cup tournaments, the Canada Cup in 1996 and 2002, the Hong Kong Sevens and Japan Sevens. Her distinguished career also includes club rugby stints in Italy and England.
