A comment from Todd Blackadder before the big final:
"Well, we’re 80 minutes away from the end of an amazing season. The ups and downs have been well documented and I’m extremely proud of the way the guys have responded this season. A lot of credit for that response has to go to the leaders within the team – Richie, Dan and Kieran and the other senior guys. We’re in the Final now and have given ourselves a good chance but we want to go all the way. Thanks so much to everyone who has supported us this season. We feel a lot of responsibility for the people of Christchurch but it seems almost all of New Zealand is behind us now. Cheers, Todd".
