We were delighted with the number and quality of applicants for the Rugby News / Radio Sport Scholarships to the IRANZ Advanced Players and Coaches Courses Courses 14 - 20 August at the Sport and Rugby Institute, Palmerston North. It was a difficult task selecting the recipients from some very worthy applicants. Our congratulations go to:
- Hayden Fleury, winner of the scholarship for the Advanced Players' Course. Hayden is a 16 year old from Dunedin's Kings High School 1st XV and has been an Otago age-grade rep.
- Jamie Hodgetts, winner of the scholarship for the Advanced Coaches Course. Jamie coaches the Tamaki College U17 1st XV Development Team.
